Membership Beats Repaint Cycles

How TurnShield™ stays operationally sound

These rules keep the program fair to long-term members and prevent abuse. Every property in your portfolio gets the same treatment.

2 touch-up turns per property / year
Each door gets its own annual allotment. Visits are property-scoped, not pooled across the portfolio (Enterprise tier excluded — see below).
Non-transferable between properties
A visit assigned to Door A cannot be redirected to Door B mid-year. Enterprise (10+ doors) members unlock pooled visits with quarterly portfolio review.
Additional turns at member rate
If a property needs more than 2 covered visits in a year, additional work bills at the locked-in member labor rate — substantially below open-market.
Same paint color stored on file
We log the exact color + finish for every member property at activation. Touch-ups are color-matched automatically — no guessing, no mismatches.
Annual rollover · max 1 unused turn
If you don't use both visits in a year, 1 unused visit rolls forward into the next membership year. The second expires. Encourages you to actually use the program.
Program Terms

TurnShield™ is a membership benefit program — not insurance. Credits apply toward qualifying services as defined below.

Member Visit Definition
1 Member Visit = a fully covered cosmetic touch-up dispatched by ScopeIQ. Standard scope (paint scuffs, nail holes, trim, color-matched single-coat work) is included at $0 to the member. Material upgrades or scope outside standard refresh are billed separately at member rates.
Membership Terms — Anti-Abuse Protection
TurnShield™ is a continuous-membership program priced like an annual benefit. To keep dues honest for long-term members, three terms apply:
  • 90-day visit lock. Your first member visit unlocks after 90 days of continuous membership. New sign-ups can't book a visit on day 1.
  • 6-month service-fee window. If a member visit is consumed and the membership is canceled within 6 months of that visit, the consumed visit converts to a $400 service-fee billed on the final invoice.
  • Annual visit allotment, no rollover. 1 visit/yr for Lite ($29/mo) · 2 visits/yr for Standard ($49/mo) · 4 visits/yr for Pro · 8 visits/yr for Operator. Visits do not carry over and cannot be redeemed retroactively after cancellation.

Common Questions

What people ask about TurnShield™

What counts as a cosmetic refresh visit?
Standard walls, trim, door scuffs, nail holes, and minor surface wear — anything a qualified crew can address with spot paint and prep in a single visit. Texture work and cabinet painting are not covered under credit.
Can I use a credit on a full repaint?
If a member visit overlaps with full-repaint work, the touch-up labor portion is covered at $0 per the membership; remaining materials and out-of-scope labor bill separately at member rates. Members typically avoid full repaints by routing cosmetic refresh through the membership instead.
What happens to unused credits at year end?
Unused credits reset annually and do not roll over. We recommend scheduling your refresh turns before the anniversary date. Your ScopeIQ cost-savings history is always retained.
Is TurnShield™ available outside NC?
Currently active in NC service zones where ScopeIQ vendor routing operates. Additional markets are targeted for 2026. Contact us to be added to the waitlist for your area.
Can Starter plan subscribers add TurnShield™?
Yes — Starter subscribers ($99/mo) can activate TurnShield™ Lite for $29/mo (1 member visit per year) or Standard for $49/mo (2 member visits per year). Pro ($349/mo) and Operator ($699/mo) plans include the membership automatically (4 and 8 visits respectively).
